Laser hardening is a method to harden steel and cast-iron materials. At our production sites in Geilenkirchen and Ingolstadt we use our patented LBBZ LACID process to harden your components. The advantages of our LACID process are numerous: components show less warping and the process is free of chemicals and force. At the same time, smaller heat-affected zones and higher lead times guarantee less ground- and rework. Hardening depth can be more than one millimeter. Using LACID to harden components is faster, more controlled and more profitable compared to conventional hardening methods.
