LBBZ is being sponsored by R&D projects supported by the EU program EFRE. Our research and development work is supported by funds of the European Union and the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Goal of this project is the development of automatic and robust monitoring, quality management and optimization of laser machines during changing production needs by use of an artificial intelligence. This project is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research.
Goal of the project MultiPROmobil is developing a multi-functional laser processing head and robot technology for the flexible and economical production of sheet metal component assemblies. To this end, a combo-head will be optimized such that it can execute all three important production methods “on the fly” (i.e. cutting, welding, and additively generate structures).
LBBZ works together with institutes of RWTH University and various companies, in order to broaden and increase skills regarding electro mobility production.
Goal of ESKODIA is the development of self-organization competences in digitalized, industrial work spaces. This project is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Research and Education.
Goal of FlexSbus-LR is the development of a flexible, electrical railcar for rural areas. This project is sponsored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy.
